Its perfectly fine to cry in some situation, as we are emotional beings no matter how much you want to control. You can not control everything, and always remember that we go through ups and downs, and sadness and happiness will be part of your whole  life. So yes, it is perfectly fine, but when you are crying on everything and you are not able to control emotions, then you should look into it because you should control your emotions; you can not let your emotions flow all the time. Your emotions play a huge role in your growth; it can be your personal, relationship, family, or professional life everywhere, no matter how small your life events are. Your emotions will be there and will be affecting your actions and consequences. 

For example, some people can take it as their weakness, some people can get attached to you, some people can take advantage of you, and some people can understand you are still a child and underdeveloped with emotional wellbeing. People can make lots of assumptions about your emotions; that’s the reason we always should stay in check with our emotions, especially when it comes to crying. And here we will look into some of the steps and try to understand how you can stop yourself from crying. So let’s start.

Understand Why 

Crying can be all of sudden events; here you can not do anything, but when you know the reason why something is happening and why it happened, then for the next time or for your future, you can stop yourself from crying. This is why you should get into the situation and understand the why with open-minded questions. 

For example, why this taking on myself, reason could be another, intention can be good, and so on. When you ask these types of questions, you will see you creating a new thinking system within yourself, and when you start operating on these thinking parameters, you will be able to see changes in your behavior and emotions, and eventually, when you have a strong understanding of situations and understanding of yourself, you can easily control your crying.

Try to give the final touch

  • Deep breathing: When you deep breath, it can instantly divide your focus and make a shift on your current activity and suddenly make changes in your energy level and so on. Things happen, and when your focus and activity start happening, then you can divert yourself, and the result of crying can be stopped. 
  • Chewing something: Start chewing something; this way you allow your senses to get involved in another activity and you can divert from the reason that is creating crying.
  • Moving hand or body: Start exercising; this way you can shut down any emotional activity that is happening in you.
  • Replace the place immediately: When you replace your place with another place, this breaks your comfort zone and creates new environments with alertness in your emotions and senses, which can also help you to stop crying.
